Mahmoud is a 42-year-old father of four children, living in the rural countryside near Aleppo. During recent conflict, a missile hit near his home, causing one side of the house to collapse. While the family was lucky to survive, they’ve been living in a partially destroyed structure without proper insulation, doors, or windows. Winter temperatures in the area drop below freezing, and rainwater now leaks into the children’s bedroom.
